Radio Mottekstrehle

Radio Mottekstrehle is the club radio of SC Preußen Münster. It first went on air in October 2012 for the DFB Cup match against FC Augsburg, attracting more than 500 listeners – including fans as far away as Shanghai.

The fan radio has operated independently since the 2017/18 season and works with the club to bring every home and away match to supporters at home, on holiday or in the car. More than ten volunteers make up the team.

Between matches, the station plays royalty-free music by bands from Münster and the Münsterland. “Mottekstrehle” comes from the local Masematte dialect and means Hammer Straße – where the Preußen heart beats.
